     Abstract: TM ^ 3 +-TB ^ 3 + co-dopig fluorosilicate glasses suitable for upcoversio lasers have bee prepared. The effect of CdF 2 additio o its thermal stability ad upcoversio lumious properties has bee systematically studied. The experimetal results show that whe CdF 2 replaces PbF 2, the thermal stability of the glass icreases ad the UV cutoff edge moves slightly to the shortwave bad. With the icrease of CdF 2 cotet, the lumious itesity of blue light ad red upcoversio icreased slightly at first, ad the icreased rapidly. The upcoversio emissio itesity of ear ifrared (IR) icreased sigificatly at first ad the slightly. The itesity of blue light ad ear ifrared emissio is much stroger tha that of red glass, which idicates that fluorosilicate glass is more suitable for blue ad ear ifrared emissio tha red glass.
